The second article on the newest sustainability trends, covers that while electric vehicles are often celebrated as the solution for their gas guzzling counterparts, electric vehicles should still be seen for what they really are: vehicles. It’s important to remember that although EVs are clearly better than traditional gas fueled vehicles, as they emit almost three times less CO2, they are still a far worse sustainable transport method than walking, biking or even public transportation. So, while it’s a wonderful step to move towards EV’s, they still aren’t the holy grail, and sometimes we should remind ourselves of that. Read the article here.
